Want a total body workout and learn how to burn fat in your 40s? Try these suggestions! I get asked a lot about how to keep your metabolism humming when you are in your 40s (and 50s, 60s and beyond!!), and there are two things I suggest: keep moving whenever you can, and add some HIIT workouts to your routine.
As we age, our tendency to slow down creeps in. Instead of becoming more sedentary, use your 40s to become more active! To learn how to burn fat in your 40s, keep moving! It’s key to keeping your body fit, firm and fabulous!! To keep moving, I always suggest adding some of my Fidget-Cisers to your day. These are quick, effective movements you can do most anywhere. Think leg lifts while drinking your coffee, mini squats while watching TV, counter or desk pushups when you have a spare minute… all these really add up in the long run! And the best part is they really are effective and take hardly any time at all. I have been doing these for years, and they really work – they promote a faster metabolism, keep your energy levels up, keep your muscles toned and engaged, and help you to burn fat in your 40s!

The other thing I suggest to help burn fat in your 40s is to add in some HIIT workouts to your fitness routine. Hi everybody. It’s Denise Austin. It’s an ask Denise segment. Okay, I get asked all the time, what are the best exercises that I could do in my forties well to tell you the truth, they are just getting quick and easy ways to squeeze him fitness cause you’re always busy in your forties you’ve got kids you’re running around. So squeezing 10 minutes of exercise every day. And here are my favorites. I call them Fidget-Cisers so you could do this in the kitchen. Okay, make exercise toning time really work. Do some butt taps on the couch just like that. This’ll firm up your hips, your thighs, your buttocks. It’s great.
And while you’re brushing your teeth, this is what I do. I do a leg lift from the back. All of these add up to have a total body workout. Also, if you want to burn fat in your forties a HIIT workout is one of the fastest ways to see results. 10 minutes. Do a minute of cardio, a minute of toning, a minute of cardio and then work on those arms, hips, thighs and buttocks. You can do it. Stay fit. Stay young and stay active even throughout the day!
