3 Simple Ways To Motivate To Exercise!

It’s about that time of year that our healthy resolutions may be dwindling… don’t do it! You set forth healthy goals to achieve because you care about your health and well-being, so let’s do a re-set and get back on track – together!! Exercise is a big resolution for a lot of people, so try these three simple but effective ways to stay motivated! Whether you want to lose weight, stave off heart disease and diabetes, tone up, or have more energy, regular exercise is key.

Here are three simple ways to motivate to exercise!

  1. Mix it up. You don’t eat the same meals every day, and you shouldn’t be doing the same workouts every day either! Mixing up your workouts not only engages new muscle groups – which helps to promote whole-body health – it engages your mind and outlook, too! You can start your free trial to my 10-Week Whole Body Plan, which includes different types of workouts every day (think: cardio dance, yoga on the beach, booty toning, kickboxing and more!) to really engage your body and mind. And if you are already a member, try one of the fun mini-challenges I have: Total Body Toning, Natural Body Bootcamp, Yoga Refresh… You can also make little changes like moving your workout outdoors, or running instead of walking. Little tweaks make a big difference!!
  2. Buy a new outfit or workout accessory. A new outfit can be such a motivator, as you look forward to putting on something cute while you get fit and healthy! But don’t forget the power of a new accessory, too. Whether it’s a booty band to add resistance to your workouts, a jump rope or mini-trampoline for a new twist, or even a heart-rate monitor to track your heart rate as you do cardio, all can add an extra bit of excitement to your workout routine.
  3. Save workout time for your favorite music or podcast. I love to go on walks, and have started to “save” my favorite podcasts for when I walk. It’s a true motivator! It makes me look forward to getting in a good cardio walk even more than usual, plus I get to listen, learn and enjoy! You can do this with music too – make a fun new playlist to get you going! And don’t forget about exercising with a friend – I look forward to my weekly meet-up workouts with my close girlfriends – it makes exercising that much more enjoyable!

You can do it – you CAN stay motivated and exercise – you are are worth it!!! Start your free trial of my 10-Week Plan today and I will help you stay motivated and achieve your healthy goals!

Let’s get fitter, together – inside and out,
Denise
