Day 7 of my 10-Day Plank Challenge: Kiss That Belly Fat Goodbye!

I love this 10-Day Challenge!  Planks are my favorite way to zip up those abs naturally with no equipment needed!  All you need is your own body.  Each one of these moves tweaks it just a bit, to target tone different areas of your torso.  It’s these small tweaks that really make a difference.  And I’m true believer in mixing it up to always surprise those muscles and you’ll see those results!


Today’s variation is the Low Hover Plank with Knee Kisses!  Get into a plank position, balancing on your forearms and toes, keep your abs pulled in and your head in line with your spine so your body forms one long line.  Alternate keeping one leg straight and bending the opposite knee to slightly touch–or kiss–the floor.


Try and keep this going for 1 minute.


This one target tones the LOWER ab muscles.  The focus of this exercise is on your transverse abdominus, which holds your abs in and tight—no droop or sag!
