Avocado Toast with Sliced Tomato and Feta
A wonderful snack or start to the day, this Avocado Toast recipe is from my Stop The Clock Nutrition Plan! This savory dish is simple to make, and avocado is such a healthy food to add to your diet. It not only has heart-healthy monounsaturated fats, but it can also help to BURN fat, too! Enjoy!
1 slice of multigrain bread
½ large ripe avocado
1 oz feta cheese
2 slices tomato
Toast one slice of multigrain bread. Mash avocado with feta and spread on toast. Add tomato slices, salt and pepper to taste. Squeeze some lemon on the second half of avocado and store in an airtight container to save for later!
